We had our daughter’s third
We had our daughter’s third birthday at the farm and could not say enough nice things about the experience! All the kids had a blast playing and learning about the farm on the tractor ride. The owners were exceptionally nice and accommodating to work with. Will definitely do it again!!
Very friendly staff & beautiful site
First visit to Star Hill Family Farm left a wonderful impression. We’ll definitely visit again and I encourage all to check this place out! We picked up a beautiful tree and wreath. Very friendly staff and beautiful site. They have it all.

My family and I came to your farm for the first time today. To say we were blown away by the wonderful experience is an understatement. From the carriage ride (especially the s’mores), the letters to Santa and feeding the animals were all top notch. Your staff was friendly and willing to lend a helping hand. Our girls were raving about how amazing it was all the way home and while decorating our tree.

Christmas is still alive in Portland CT
Our family had the pleasure of a true old fashioned Christmas setting 12/21/2024 for a horse drawn wagon ride through a beautiful trail of a snowy forest with a surprise stop at a huge fire pit where we gathered around to roast s’mores! What a cozy idea! We had a couple wonderful surprises along the way back bringing us smiles and holiday cheer. Although it felt like below zero we brought blankets (a must have) so we kept warm. Our family went to Santa’s shop where Lillian (2years old) had pictures with Mr and Mrs Claus and helped her write a letter to Santa and play games with the other kids. Last stop the petting zoo full of fluffy animals you can pet and feed! Totally worth facing the cold! A local magical place to visit!

We likely stayed an hour longer than planned because the kids really loved everything: the activity area, tractor ride, petting area, Santa & Mrs Claus. All your effort really made it special for them. Thank you!
