NBC CT – Black Friday 2024

Today we welcomed NBC Connecticut’s Amanda Pitts to tour the farm during what is typically our opening day of the season. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day to kick off the holiday festivities! Families from across the region gathered to find their perfect Christmas trees, sip on warm apple cider, and soak in the magic of the season. Amanda captured the heart of what we strive to create here at Star Hill Family Farm—an authentic Christmas experience steeped in tradition and joy. Her visit showcased the bustling energy and laughter that filled the farm today. From families enjoying horse-drawn carriage rides to little ones giggling as they fed our silly goats, every corner of the farm was alive with holiday cheer.

Today was also a record-breaking day for us! It was our busiest day to date, and we were thrilled to see so many smiles, hear the clicking of cameras capturing cherished memories, and witness the joy of families making this season their own. The air was crisp, the trees were fragrant, and the sense of community was truly heartwarming.
